From a 14-Year-Old Dream to Gen Zes

Hi, I'm Naren — the founder of Gen Zes.

This brand didn't start in a big office, with investors, or with a huge budget. It started during my summer holidays as a 14-year-old boy with one simple thought:

"I want to build something meaningful."

While most people my age were spending their holidays normally, something sparked inside me. I wanted to create something useful for people — something real, something that could grow bigger than myself.

That's when I entered the world of fashion and streetwear.

The Beginning

At first, I knew almost nothing about building a brand. No experience. No team. No money.

But I had curiosity, ambition, and the willingness to learn.

I started spending nearly 10 hours every single day learning, researching, analyzing brands, studying designs, understanding websites, and trying to figure out how the fashion industry really worked.

Eventually, I discovered print-on-demand, and it felt like the perfect way to start my journey.

After weeks of hard work, I finally launched my first website.

But honestly — it wasn't good.

It didn't feel professional. There were no proper mockups, no trust signals, and no real brand identity. Instead of feeling like a modern streetwear brand, it felt more like a random collection of clothes.

And that realization hurt.

Starting Again

After nearly 3 months of trying, failing, learning, and overthinking, I stopped everything.

Not because I wanted to quit — but because I wanted to understand things properly.

So instead of rushing, I spent the next several months learning deeply:

  • Branding
  • Design
  • Customer psychology
  • Product presentation
  • Website experience
  • Fashion culture
  • Marketing
  • Trust building

I studied what makes global brands feel premium and why some websites instantly feel trustworthy while others don't.

Then, after 8–9 months, I came back with a completely different mindset.

This time, I didn't just want to "sell clothes."

I wanted to build a real brand.

Building Gen Zes

I rebuilt everything from the ground up:

  • A new vision
  • Better designs
  • Professional mockups
  • Cleaner branding
  • A new logo
  • A more customer-friendly experience
  • A smoother and more modern website

And slowly, Gen Zes started becoming what I had imagined from the beginning: A brand that feels minimal, premium, comfortable, and modern.

What makes this journey even more special to me is that this entire website and brand were built with almost zero cost — only countless hours of learning, creativity, mistakes, and dedication.

The Vision Behind Gen Zes

Today, a lot of streetwear feels repetitive — overly flashy, low quality, or designed without meaning.

My vision for Gen Zes is different.

I want to create streetwear that feels:

  • Premium yet affordable
  • Minimal yet expressive
  • Comfortable for everyday life
  • Stylish without trying too hard
  • Honest and transparent

I also want customers to know every important detail about what they buy — the kind of transparency many brands ignore.

For me, Gen Zes is not just about fashion.

It's about building a culture of confidence, simplicity, creativity, and self-expression for the new generation.

More Than Just a Brand

Gen Zes is proof that age does not decide vision.

A 14-year-old with no investment, no big team, and no shortcuts started this brand with nothing but ideas, consistency, and the willingness to learn every single day.

And this is only the beginning.

Gen Zes — Style the Generation.
